Home sales increased in El Paso County by 8% for the month of April when compared to the previous month of March. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 12.8% higher.
There were 144 fewer single family home sales in April 2015. Compared to the previous month of March, the average sales price ($274,891) and the median sales price ($248,050) increased. Last April, the average sales price was $265,800 and the median sales price was $235,000. Competition among home buyers remains fierce in the current real estate market; many sellers are receiving multiple offers and selling their homes within days of putting them on the market.
