If your home didn’t sell and it was priced correctly, in excellent condition, and in a great location, it may have not been marketed effectively.
In today’s real estate market, putting a sign in the yard is not enough for a home to sell. There is too much competition! A real estate agent is not always the one at fault if a home does not sell but it is a possibility.
How did your agent market your home? Was their marketing plan effective in exposing your home to buyers? What was the quality of photographs posted to the MLS? Did you look at the way your home was listed on the MLS to ensure all of the information was correct and that the pictures your agent submitted to the MLS were of quality? If your agent only added one picture of your home on the MLS that may be one reason it did not sell. Many buyers in Colorado Springs want to see photos of the inside of a home and if there are no pictures, many buyers assume something is wrong with the inside of the house.
Was your home exposed to other real estate agents? If so, did you apply any of the feedback recommended by agents such as removing stains from the carpet, de-cluttering, or painting the front door?
If your real estate agent did not properly market your home to buyers that may be one reason it did not sell! Getting your home in front of buyers, particularly on the Internet, is critical since most home buyers begin their home search online.
